Zeid Nasser, is Managing Director of MediaScope and Founder of mediaME.com, the Middle East's first and largest online community of advertising and media professionals with over 15,000 members. MediaScope is a pioneering media marketing, publishing and event organizing company with business activities in Jordan and UAE. Zeid is the Chairperson of the mediaME Forum:2012.
Zeid is a well-known media and technology commentator, and a regular conference speaker and panelist who also served as Secretary General of IAA Jordan for four terms.
Mohammed Minawi has been working in the market research industry for over 10 years, starting his research career with Ipsos in Jordan. He currently holds the position of General Manager, overseeing all research divisions within the company, namely; MediaCT, Advertising, Marketing, Loyalty, Public Affairs, and Observer. Throughout his career, Mohammed has worked closely with leading companies from a wide range of industries across the Middle East and North Africa, advising these companies on matters related to Marketing and Business Strategy. These industries include Telecommunications, Media, FMCGs, Retail, Banking, Real Estate, and Automotive.Mohammed holds a B.A. in Business Administration from the American University of Beirut, with an emphasis on Marketing, and an MBA from the University of Leicester in the UK.
Yousef Tuqan Tuqan is one of the region’s most experienced and respected digital marketing experts, with a diverse agency career in the UAE that spans over 15 years. Throughout this time Yousef has led the digital strategy and delivery of some of the Middle East’s most iconic brands, including twofour54, Dubai Shopping Festival and Majid Al-Futtaim Malls. Yousef is the most outspoken and visible evangelist for the role of digital marketing in the region. He is a regular university guest lecturer & keynote speaker, and is a frequent contributor to regional and international publications on digital marketing in the Middle East As CEO of Flip Media – the region’s largest digital agency - Yousef has been at the forefront of the region’s most successful online initiatives, leading a global team of 120 staff across four offices worldwide. Yousef is an avid marathon runner, a member of MENSA and the international branding think-thank, Medinge, as well as a Board Member of the International Advertising Association's UAE Chapter. He is also a Goodwill Ambassador for the charity Gulf For Good.

Isam Bayazidi is the Chief Executive Officer of ikoo, the largest online advertising network in Middle East and North Africa. Prior to moving to ikoo, Isam was in Maktoob Group, house of the largest Arab online community. While in Maktoob, Isam initiated and lead Araby.com, the Arabic Search Engine company, as well as being the Product Director for Maktoob.com where he worked on several projects and initiatives. Isam holds a Bachelor Degree in Computer Science from Al AlBayt University in Jordan, and is an MBA Student at Warwick Business School in UK. He has great passion for technology, Internet, gadgets and all things digital. Isam has been a speaker in a number of events speaking on Open Source and Open Content projects, as well a volunteer contributor and a leader in some of the open source projects such as Wikipedia and Arabeyes.
Paul is Chief Marketing Officer & Managing Director of the EMEA branch of the Mobile Marketing Association (MMA). He has over 24 years experience in a wide variety of sales, marketing, business development and commercial roles spanning several different industries and market sectors including automotive, printing, internet development and management consultancy. He has spent the past eight years in mobile marketing and has been a speaker at over 200 mobile events across the world, speaking to more than 30,000 people.Paul is a Business Leader in The Marketing Society, writing regularly for their blog, a Fellow of the Institute of Direct Marketing, a Chartered Marketer in the Chartered Institute of Marketing, a Member of the CMO Council and a mentor in the Marketing Academy.
Khaled moved to Jordan back in 2009 after spending close to 20 years in the U.S, with a masters in management and a passion for social media. Khaled started a few viral Twitter hashtags like #Top50JO & #ReformJO, published a couple of infographs on social media that were posted on Mashable.com and wrote an article about the top 100 influential Arabs on twitter.Khaled is very well involved in connecting brands to their customers online, and is a consultant and a trainer for many prominent brands in Jordan, some of which are the British Embassy, Foreign Ministry, Jordan River Foundation, Tkiyet Em Ali, CNBC Arabia, AD Pro Communications, MEPI and the Bahrain E-Gov Forum 2011 & 2012. Zafer Younis is a marketing specialist paving new ways for companies to connect with their consumers in the digital space. He is the co-founder and CEO of The Online Project where his team develops and executes social media strategies for Fortune 500 companies and high profile organizations operating in the Middle East and North Africa. At the age of 23, Zafer co-founded his first company: Modern Media, LTD, a Jordanian media house that owns and operates two popular radio stations, including the award winning radio station Play 99.6. Since founding The Online Project in 2009, Zafer remains involved as Modern Media's strategic advisor. However, Zafer's focus today is on scaling The Online Project, setting up offices around the region to expand the company's geographical reach, and releasing innovative online tools targeting social media users around the world. The Online Project's latest release, ContentScorer (registered trade mark) is currently used by more than 250 media agencies and brand's across the US and Europe to monitor the effectiveness of their social media content.
Fida Taher is the founder & CEO of Zaytouneh.com, the region’s leading video recipe website. Prior to Zaytouneh, Fida worked in different areas in the media domain for 9 years, during which she produced hundreds of hours of video content. Coming from aproduction background, Fida strongly believes in the power and potential of the audio-visional content. Taher is a member of INTAJ- Jordan. She is a on the Acting Board of Directors of Nakhweh NGO, as well as actively engaged with a number of local and international NGOs that aim to empower women. Taher holds a BA in Communication Arts, with emphasis on Radio, TV, & Film from the Lebanese American University.
Mohammed Al-Shaker is the co-Founder and CEO of ArabiaWeather Inc., the first Arabian weather web site (formerly JordanWeather.Jo). Mohammed is one of the most prominent meteorologists in the Middle East, appearing regularly on leading TV stations and in newspapers discussing the weather. He holds holding several meteorological certificates, two of which he obtained from the United Kingdom Met Office. Lama is the Product Development & VAS manager at zain, the leading mobile operator in Jordan. Lama joined Zain's team 8 years ago, specializing in technology and product development areas in marketing , and recently overseeing the mobile content and value added services as well. She is also involved in the digital media strategy of Zain. Lama holds a computer information systems degree from the University of Jordan.
Mohammad Khartabil is the Director of Performance Advertising at ikoo. He graduated from the America University of Sharjah in 2005 with a degree in Management Information System/Computer Science. His professional experience includes Display Advertising, Affiliate Marketing, Business Development, Account Management, Client Servicing, Digital Media Operations, Trafficking, Planning, Buying, Online Media Sales, Sales Management, and Consultancy. Mohammad spoke at many events including Click 2009, Digimedia 2010, Internet Show 2010, Total Marketing Show 2010, Internet Show 2011 among others.

Ahmad started his first design studio in 1991 while studying architecture at the University of Jordan. In the 1990s he led design and technology efforts at various pioneering publishing, consulting and web ventures in the Middle East.His Amman-based company, SYNTAX, is a branding, design and innovation firm. SYNTAX was one of the first interactive design firms in the region, with its core team starting to develop web sites as early as 1995. Delivering branded experiences across media and platforms, SYNTAX continues to be recognized as a leading web innovator today.In 2010 SYNTAX conceptualized, branded and designed Wamda.com, the regional entrepreneurship platformed that was conceived by Abraaj Capital.Ahmad is married to Architect/designer Salua Qidan who is SYNTAX’s other co-founder. Cesar Christoforidis is the Director of ROW at Socialbakers where he leads a team of international territory managers in key markets: LATAM, APAC, Middle East and Southern Europe. Responsible for executing geographical expansion strategy over the next 2 years and has already successfully opened offices in Dubai, Istanbul, Mexico City & Sao Paulo. Previously he led a team of digital consultants as Sales Director UK & EMEA for Experian Hitwise, one of the world’s leading online marketing intelligence tools. Prior to Hitwise, Cesar successfully developed new revenue channels and markets for the world’s oldest newspaper Lloyd’s List.
Amjad Tadros is the visionary behind the ShooFeeTV business and heads its day-to-day operations. He has successfully founded and managed a variety of businesses ranging from advertising and marketing communications, to security and logistics. He also works as the point person in the Middle East for CBS News, managing the network's coverage and operations in the region since 1990. In 1997, he was awarded an Emmy in Investigative Journalism.
Amjad holds an honors degree in Mechanical Engineering from Imperial College of Science and Technology at the University of London.
Meredith possesses 360-degree experience in marketing communications, which she has gained over the past 14 years in the APAC and EMEA regions. Meredith first began working with social media in 2002 and has since has specialized in the discipline. In this time, she has worked on global and regional social media initiatives with organisations such as PepsiCo, Henkel, Abu Dhabi Tourism Authority, Porsche, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars and Wrigleys.
Jalil Allabadi is the Managing Partner and Co-Founder of Altibbi.com, the largest Arabic medical and health information portal. He was raised in Amman, Jordan and earned his Engineering Degree from the University of Bologna in Italy and an MBA from Thunderbird School of Global Management in Arizona, USA. In 2010, Jalil returned to Jordan and has been dedicated since to AlTibbi and helping create awareness regarding patient education in the Arab world.
Tareq Abu-Lughod is the founder of the Arab Media Network and co-founder of Istikana.com. Tareq graduated from Boston University in 1996 with a degree in Broadcasting & Film and a concentration in Economics. He is a member of the Arab Producers Union and Jordan’s Producers Union. He is also a board member in Tkiyyet Um Ali, Nakhweh, Raneen and Taaluf Al Khair. Tareq is also involved in Mazaj FM, ProdigiCorp, Talfizyon, ALS and Kuzbara.
Rasha is currently operating as a Digital Planner at Mindshare Beirut for the Levant markets. She has acquired a bachelor’s degree in communication arts with an emphasis on advertising. Due to her love for the Big Apple & for digital sphere together, Rasha accomplished the core dynamics of digital marketing at VML New York- a WPP Digital Agency. With a backbone in advertising & brand planning, she spent 4 years in Y&R operating onto strategic planning & account leads. In 2010, she boarded Cleartag, a core digital agency as a senior strategic planner as she led the social influence team.Rasha is currently dwelling at Mindshare Beirut into creating customized digital strategies for multi-categories: fashion retail brands, regional telecoms, banking, FMCGs, e-commerce, electronics, automobile, tobacco, healthcare and NGOs.
Bechir Omran is a Business Development professional specialized in formulating and growing strategic partnerships that thrive on innovation in the creative and new media industry. Bechir is currently the Chief Business Officer at Kharabeesh where he lead Sales operations, Marcom, Publishing and expansion, he has succeeded in establishing the company’s operations in his home country “Tunisia” and aims to accelerate the company’s development across the region. Kharabeesh creates and produces Arabic content on the Web, the company has now grown to become a collaborative environment for the Arab creative youth and a hub for the under-tapped talents in the Arab world. Prior to joining Kharabeesh and at the age of 22, Bechir was elected as Vice President of Exchange for AIESEC in Jordan and as part of AIESEC International board Team for Exchange; AIESEC is the world’s largest youth led organization. Bechir has been invited to train and speak at numerous forums and seminars in 10 different countries.
Sawsan Al Hayek currently heads MEC's planning department for clients in Jordan. Sawsan is specialized in Online advertising and branding, and is responsible for managing and leading clients’ online and offline presence across the region, in addition to developing online media solutions. Before MEC, Sawsan held marketing and advertising positions at Aramex, Jeeran, Fastlink (now known as ZAIN) and SADDA Marketing & Advertising.
Abdelsalam founded Greyscale Films in 2006 and Aramram.com, the first local WebTV, in 2007. He heads the production department at both organizations and brings with him 20 years experience as director, producer and director of photography with regional and international players.He has assumed several positions within the TV and film making industry since then. His positions ranged from technical advisor, director of photography, to producer and director.On the production side Abdelsalam worked as Producer/Director on several TV shows and documentaries. Throughout his career Abdelsalam extensively traveled and worked on stories. He has freelanced with several international news organizations including Reuters, BBC, ITN, Channel 4, RDF, WDR, ABC Australia, AlJazeera and AlJazeera English, Orbit.
Firas Steitiyeh is the Products Manager of The Online Project, the leading social media agency in the Middle East. Prior to joining TOP, Firas worked in different industries; mainly Telecom and Digital Media. His experience lies in social media, product marketing and development, user experience and analytics. Firas believes in the power of startups and enjoys working with them closely in his spare time to share with them his knowledge and what he has learnt throughout his experience.
Samar Shawareb is the Founder and Managing Director of Arabia Weddings (ArabiaWeddings.com); an online bilingual wedding planning platform established in Jordan at the end of 2011 for the Middle East. Samar has over 25 years of work experience. She founded Events UnLimited in 2011 as a professional event management company producing top quality exhibitions and conferences, among them the International Hospitality Forum, the Wedding Show and Think Green conferences on Green Buildings. Samar holds an MBA from the University of Jordan and a Bachelor degree in Business Administration from the American University of Beirut (AUB). She is also a Certified Event Management Professional from George Washington University.
Zaidoun Karadsheh, an architect, has invested his knowledge and skills in architecting the Internet space in Jordan and the region. For over 8 years, he has led the award-winning multimedia and web development powerhouse Media Plus, serving hundreds of clients in Jordan and UAE, and is co-founder of pioneering pan-Arab animation firm Sketch in Motion. Among other major Internet projects, Zaidoun's businesses have served clients and agencies in Jordan, Egypt and the UAE in developing online campaigns and microsites and is proud of the proven ability of
Media Plus and Sketch In Motion teams to achieve results for these clients and break new grounds in online marketing communications.
Elias is the founder of The Media Supermarket, an online marketing agency based in Dubai. Currently, he manages the online marketing of several leading regional and global brands. His expertise lies in developing and implementing strategies for managing the online presence of brands, with a strong focus on web analytics and search marketing (paid and organic).
Wael Quader has more than 13 years of experience in the software and mobile industry across Levant and the GCC. In 2010, and with funding of $3 million, he co-founded Noqoush Mobile Media Group, a leading Arab company that specializes in Mobile Media Monetization through AdFalcon, the first mobile advertising network in the Middle East. Wael is currently the Chief Executive Officer at Noqoush and responsible for guiding the strategy and the overall performance of the company.Prior to Noqoush, and as a Director of Professional Services at major software houses in the region, Wael was responsible for guiding and monitoring the overall operations related to a wide variety of services, overseeing the delivery of multiple multimillion dollar projects for many of the region's top enterprises. Having participated in many conferences, and being a mentor at Oasis500 Venture Fund, Wael has been effective in promoting awareness towards the mobile industry in the region.
