About mediaME Forum: 2011
Following the success of last year's event, mediaME.com is organizing it's 2nd annual mediaME Forum:2011, bringing together stakeholders from traditional and digital media industries to meet, gain knowledge and discuss the digital media future of the Levant region.
It is evident that the digital media market is evolving in the Levant countries (Jordan, Syria, Lebanon, Iraq, Palestine), however there is a lack of sufficient awareness among clients, agencies and media owners. Yet, consumers in the region are adopting the Internet at exponential rates coupled with massive mobile penetration.
Clearly, there is a gap in serving this digitally-evolving population, which represents substantial potential for future growth. According to Ipsos, advertising expenditures grew by $82,120,758 in the first half of 2011 compared to the first half of 2010; a substantial increase in online spending, reflecting the level of importance and rapid growth of the online market scene.
Among attendees, there will be a minimum of 100 clients (advertising decision makers) who shall be invited at the expense of the organizer (through complimentary delegate registrations).
The mediaME Forum:2011 will be a bridge between the Gulf and the Levant digital media markets, as we tap into the progress made in digital media expenditure in the GCC, the lessons learned and how it influences our region as we host several top industry speakers from across the Middle East.
The event is scheduled for 27th and 28th of November at Grand Hyatt Amman, Jordan. More information regarding the program and speakers shall be provided soon.
